Medina County Sports Hall of Fame
Information
The Medina County Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1985 through a partnership between the Medina Breakfast Kiwanis Club and The Gazette. Its mission is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding athletes, coaches, and community members whose achievements have enriched the proud tradition of athletics in Medina County.
Each year, the Hall of Fame honors amateur and professional athletes who have excelled in competition and made a lasting impact on their sport and community. Inductees are recognized during the annual banquet and memorialized on the Hall of Fame Wall, located in the Medina Community Recreation Center.
In addition to Hall of Fame inductees, the program recognizes members of The Gazette All-County Teams, team MVPs, Senior Athletes of the Year, seasonal Coaches of the Year, and outstanding athletes from Special Olympics programs. Together, these recognitions celebrate excellence, sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication across all levels of competition.
The continued success of the Medina County Sports Hall of Fame is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, and individuals. We gratefully acknowledge our sponsors and supporters whose contributions allow this tradition of honoring Medina County's finest athletes and coaches to continue year after year.
