About Us

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one family at a time. With more than 750,000 Kiwanis family members in over 13,000 clubs and a presence in more than 80 countries, Kiwanis members work together to strengthen their communities through service and support for children.

The Medina Breakfast Kiwanis Club was established in 1972 and has been proudly serving the Medina community ever since. Through volunteer service and financial support, our members assist a wide variety of local organizations and programs that enrich the lives of children, families, and individuals throughout Medina County.

Our club supports numerous community initiatives, including Feeding Medina County, Personal Pantry, Head Start, the Medina County Red Cross, Main Street Medina, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Buckeye Boys State and Girls State, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Medina Creative Housing, Paradise Village, Medina Community Band, and many others. We also sponsor youth leadership and service programs such as Key Club at the Medina County Career Center, K-Kids at Sidney Fenn, Heritage, and Northrop Elementary Schools, and the AKtion Club through the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

To fund these efforts, our members volunteer at community events throughout the year, including Children's Day on the Square, the Fourth of July Parade, Art in the Park, and summer band concerts on Medina's historic square. Proceeds from these activities help us continue supporting important local programs and organizations.
